Letter from The President, July 2017

To all FPV Tickford Club of NSW Members.

Dear All,

Well winter finally set in, cold weather and short days, not my favourite time of year at

all…..

As a Ford man, in a Ford club, supporting Ford in racing, what a great position we are in.

An absolutely dominating result at Hidden Valley, and now not only 1-2 in the

Championship but 5 cars in the top 10. Let’s hope the strong performances continue.

Now on to July. The social night at McCredies will be on Tuesday July 4. June was a little

light on numbers but as usual a good night. You will also receive an sms reminder this

weekend.

Paceway and Cars was again the success it deserves to be, and will be on again on July 9.

This event is always an enjoyable one.

Also in June was a mini car show fund raiser for the Randwick Children’s Hospital held at

Superior Finish Car Detailing in Camden. While it was organised at short notice, it still

had a good representation from our Club.

Another successful night was early June with a short cruise and a return to Talotta’s Pizza

at Kurnell. New member Grant Booth took and circulated some sensational photos of the

cars on the night, you may have seen them on our Facebook page, and if not, look for

them now !

On to July.

On July 2 will be a combined Ford/Holden cruise to Shellharbour, details on the Facebook

page.

Details have also been circulated for a cruise and visit to the Australian Motorlife Museum

in Kembla Grange, This will leave Penrith on July 9 once Paceway and Cars finishes. It

should be an interesting one.

Don’t forget All Ford Day is July 30, details already circulated by Ben S. Numbers so far

look great, so make sure you are on board.

Details have also been circulated for our representation at the Sydney Motorsport Park

Supercar round. Again Ben S has circulated details so please complete your Raceline

application form and confirm your attendance with Ben S.

If anything else comes up for July you will receive Facebook and email advice.

And now for some exciting late news. The promised updated website www.fpvclub.com is

now online for all to see. From the samples I have seen it looks sensational and a credit to

Brian and the website designers who have put it together. The new site is quite detailed and

extremely functional, with loads of information and photos. Go check it out now !!!
